Access to the information on this system is currently available at no charge; however, a user fee, approved by the Judicial conference of the United States, may be applied in the future.

System requirements are minimal and inexpensive.

To view documents in the system, all that is needed is Internet access, Firefox 1.5 and 2.0, Internet Explorer 6.0 and 7.0, and Netscape 7.2. and the Adobe Acrobat Reader 6.0 or higher.

To file documents electronically, attorneys will also need Adobe PDF Writer software. A scanner may also be needed for imaging documents that do not exist in electronic format. The recommended scanner setting is 200 dpi for black/white text. Both Netscape and Adobe Reader software are widely available for free.
