I have been General Counsel of New York University, the chief legal officer of the nation's largest private university, responsible for the university's legal affairs, including campuses in a dozen countries around the world. My specific background is in labor, employment and commercial litigation. I have been counsel in numerous litigated and arbitral matters and have been on the EDNY's mediation panel since 1996 and arbitration panel in 2019 and the SDNY's mediation panel since 2011. I have been on the arbitration panel for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and its predecessor since 2004 and teach as an adjunct faculty member at New York University.
