Professional Experience
I am a partner of Ellenoff Grossman & Schole LLP, and am head of the firm's Labor & Employment Law group. As such, I represent businesses and executives in litigation, and provide counseling and preventative education with regard to wage-hour compliance, employment discrimination, harassment, labor relations, leave laws, internal investigations, employment contracts and manuals, severance agreements, arbitration, mediation, and labor and employment aspects of corporate and real estate transactions. I am one of the most experienced practitioners in New York in the highly litigated area of wage and hour law, having litigated dozens of federal and state court cases involving claims under the Fair Labor Standards Act and the New York Labor Law. Because of my experience in this area, I was invited by the mediation office of the Federal Court for the Southern District of New York to speak on wage and hour laws, and was named one of the "Top Women in Metro NY Foodservice & Hospitality" by Total Food Service magazine in 2017 and 2018.
ADR Experience
Successfully mediated many cases for the SDNY and for private parties.
