Professional Experience
Ms. James has been an active litigator for over twenty nine years and an active mediator for over the last eight years. She has served as a mediator and arbitrator many disputes in commercial and other matters. As a litigator Ms. James has extensive experience in complex federal litigation involving aviation and maritime disputes and disasters, terrorist claims, September 11 wrongful death fund cases, IP cases including copyright and trademark and related unfair competition disputes, workplace disputes including executive termination and discrimination claims and wrongful death and premise liability matters. During her career she has worked respected firms including Kreidler and Kreindler, Collen IP, and Mudge Rose. In 2012 she founded her own firm dedicated to litigation and ADR services including mediation and arbitration.

ADR Experience
As a member of the SDNY, New York Commercial Division and New York State mediation panels Ms. James has mediated a hundred cases and acted as arbitrator on many other cases. Mediated cases include contract disputes of all types, IP cases, insurance claims, employment cases, including FLSA claims and class actions, sex and discrimination cases, sexual harassment cases, tort and product liability cases, and civil rights. She is active in mediation training and has served as a speaker and continues to take training every year. Ms. James is active in the ADR section of the NYSBA, ABA and NYCBA training and events.
