He has handled numerous tort cases with a specialty in aviation mass disaster and commuter, military and general aviation cases. He has been appointed and served on Plaintiffs' Committees in a series of multidistrict litigation cases involving mass aviation disasters. He has served as a court appointed mediator in the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and as a court appointed arbitrator in the Eastern District of New York.
He was elected and served as Chair of the Aviation and Space law Committee of the American Bar Association (ABA) Tort and Insurance Practice Section (TIPS); Chair of the Trial Techniques Committee of ABA TIPS and has also served as a Vice-Chair of the Litigation Committee of ABA TIPS. He writes a regular column on Aviation Law for the New York Law Journal and has delivered several papers and given lectures at numerous national, state and local conventions and institutes sponsored by the ABA, New York State Bar, and other legal groups. He is a Fellow of the International Society of Barristers.
