Has 35 years experience. Has done both defense and plaintiff's work and is understanding of both "sides of the coin". Appointed to the Manhattan Trial Unit of the Office of the Corporation Counsel, City of New York in 1981. In 1987, he joined the Firm as a Senior Partner to develop its then fledgling Negligence Department which grew from its enduring workers' compensation practice.
Served as an EDNY neutral for many years resolving personal injury cases to the satisfaction of both sides. Successfully resolved private mediations. Has participated in countless mediations at JAMS, NAM, & Resolute Systems, LLC.
He is a frequent lecturer in continuing legal education seminars given to practicing attorneys by various Bar associations, a faculty member of the National Institute of Trial Advocacy and authored "Reiff's Road Map to Jury Selection" for the New York State Trial Lawyers Quarterly.
