Professional Experience
For 25 years, Michael Starr has served as a court-appointed mediator or early neutral evaluator for federal and state courts in New York City. After over 30 years in private practice as a litigation attorney focused on complex civil litigation, including employment and labor matters, he is now a full-time neutral and principal of M Starr ADR LLC (d/b/a Michael Starr Mediation Services). A fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers, his experience as a mediator includes FLSA, employment discrimination and disability accommodation matters as well as a full range of commercial disputes.
