| Attorney Admissions Ceremonies Attorney admissions ceremonies have been suspended due to the government shutdown. Bar applications will continue to be accepted through PACER. Admissions applications will be processed by court staff without the necessity of a personal appearance by the applicants and sponsoring attorneys |

Pre-Lapse in Appropriations Notice to Contractors
Notice to Vendors and Contractors As a result of the current lapse in appropriations/government shutdown, beginning Monday, October 20, 2025, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York (District Court) will be unable to make invoice payments until such time as funding is restored. The District Court anticipates that vendor services will continue uninterrupted throughout the duration of the shutdown and will resume payment for goods and services received immediately upon the passage of budget legislation or a continuing resolution is enacted by Congress. |
