Local Rules and Documents

Pursuant to 28 U.S.C. §1914(b), the Judicial Conference of the United States has approved a $50 general administrative fee for filing a civil action, suit, or proceeding in a district court. The administrative fee goes into effect on May 1, 2013, and will be applied to all civil cases except where a person had been granted in forma pauperis status under 28 U.S.C. §1915.


The Courts have adopted revisions to Local Rules 56.2 and 12.1 Concerning Pro Se Litigants, Local Civil  Rule 1.3, Local Civil Rule 11.1 and Local Civil Rule 1.5(e), and prior to
taking effect invite comments.  Additions and changes appear in bold italics; and deletions, lined through.


Private investigator Joseph P. Dwyer was arrested on October 22, 2014, and charged in the

Southern District of New York with mail fraud and for paying bribes to a New York City Police

Officer to obtain confidential reports from a federal law enforcement database. He is currently

suspended from further practice before this Court.
