In Re APPOINTMENT OF A UNITED STATES MAGISTRATE JUDGE MERIT SELECTION PANEL

Pursuant to the authority conferred by 28 U.S.C. Sections 631, et seq., and the further authority granted by the Judicial Conference of the United States, the Board of Judges for the Eastern District of New York hereby appoints a Merit Selection Panel to consider the reappointment of U.S. Magistrate Judge Vera M. Scanlon for a new eight (8)-year term. Magistrate Judge Scanlon's current term is due to expire on August 14, 2020.
